ARRI has created the SkyPanel S360-C Kit to allow maximum creative use of the 360-C LED panel. The kit includes a 50.4 x 34.4″ surface area, bi-color fixture with a carbon fiber yoke and a short yoke for hanging the fixture facing down. The versatile light has interchangeable diffusion screens, so ARRI provides them all: Standard, Lite and Heavy Diffusion, as well as an Intensifier to boost output and facilitate long-throw use. The 360-C also comes with both 30 and 60° Honeycomb Grids that tighten the light’s 105° beam spread, eliminating spill light and permitting selective or dramatic lighting. A Super Clamp Adapter is also included to enable mounting of the Power Supply Unit to a variety of objects such as light stands and trusses.

ARRI continues to enlarge their LED line with the introduction of the massive SkyPanel S360-C LED Softlight. Supported by a weight-reducing carbon fiber yoke, the panel surface area measures 34.4 x 50.4″. It employs interchangeable thermoplastic diffusers that range from Lite to Heavy to soften the light and wrap its output around your subject. There’s also an Intensifier that boosts the output for long-throw use. A Standard medium diffuser is included with the light. The SkyPanel outputs the approximate equivalent of an 8000W tungsten soft light while drawing a maximum of only 1500W.

Using technology originally designed for the L7-C Fresnel, the SkyPanel S360-C is fully color tunable, allowing output of warm 2800K to icy blue 10,000K light, and it also uses the full RGB+W color gamut with hue and saturation control for fine adjustments. Plus and minus 1/8 green-magenta adjustment is also possible, so if you’re lighting for blue or green screen, you can simply dial in your chosen color. This wide degree of control is responsible for a very high CRI of 95 and a TLCI rating of 90. All of these functions, as well as 0-100% dimming, can be adjusted locally with the SkyPanel’s onboard controller, with an optional wired remote, standard DMX, or wireless DMX and RDM via onboard LumenRadio. Besides inputs and outputs appropriate to these functions, the light also has USB-A and Ethernet connections for DMX setup, fixture status and control, and firmware upgrades from a flash drive, Windows or Mac.

The SkyPanel S360-C can be used worldwide, thanks to its included 100-240 VAC power supply. Besides the power supply, the light comes with a Junior (1-1/8″) pin and a standard diffuser. This version of the light has a manual carbon fiber yoke and comes with an Edison power cord.

Impressive Aperture
Soft lights are all about size, the larger the aperture the better. With the S360-C, the surface area is over 5.8 times larger than the S60 and produces flattering soft light in a wide 105º beam angle. The light will wrap around large objects and throw much farther than the smaller SkyPanels.
Superior Brightness
At over 120,000 lumens, the S360-C is one of the brightest LED soft lights on the market. Compared to the S60-C, the S360-C is more than four times brighter and maintains precise color quality and tuneability. Consuming only 1500 watts, the S360-C is twice as bright as a 4000W tungsten soft light and over three times as bright as a 12,000W tungsten space light. With an energy efficiency of over 80 lumens per watt the S360-C is very eco-friendly, something that is incredibly important for such a powerful fixture.
Built-in Wireless DMX
SkyPanel has always had a multitude of ways to control the light output; DMX, RDM, Art-Net, sACN, 5-Pin XLR, and Ethernet. The S360-C adds another important communication method, and this one does not involve any wires: Wireless DMX by LumenRadio. Built into every S360-C, the CMRX chip allows for DMX and RDM communication without the hassle of cables and distribution equipment. Simply link a compatible LumenRadio transmitter to the S360-C and you’re good to go. Using the 5-Pin DMX output on the S360-C also allows for daisy chaining other non-wireless SkyPanels to the DMX network.
Full Color Tunability
As with all ARRI LED lamp heads, the S360-C is fully tunable. Easily adjust the CCT from 2800K to 10,000K with plus/minus green control and access the full color gamut with Hue and Saturation control, RGBW mixing, digital gels, source matching, or CIE x, y coordinates. Achieving over 85% of the colors within the Rec 2020 color space, it is now easy to create the look and color you want right on set.
Lighting Effects on a Grand Scale
With SkyPanel Firmware 3.0, powerful lighting effects were introduced into the SkyPanel family. And with the introduction of the S360-C, these effects are even more impressive. Over the large aperture of the S360-C, the dynamic light effects appear more dramatic and powerful. The fire effect covers a huge area, the cop car effect can light up a street, and the paparazzi effect looks like an entire press corps snapping photographs. With the turn of a few knobs, impressive and realistic effects are at the crew’s fingertips.
Swappable Panels
SkyPanel is one of the only LED soft lights to allow for the changing of diffusion panels in front of the LEDs. This feature is also offered with the S360-C. The exchangeable diffusion panels come in Lite, Standard, Heavy, and Intensifier. The Intensifier increases S360’s brightness by 50%, allowing the light to be thrown even farther.
Carbon Fiber Yoke
The S360-C comes standard with a state-of-the-art carbon fiber yoke. This yoke provides a weight reduction of over 50% compared to a typical steel yoke and can support 10 times the weight of the fixture.
Dedicated Remote Control

The S360-C housing features a SkyPanel Remote docking port. Able to control the S360-C via a USB cable, the SkyPanel Remote can be attached to the docking port on the back of the fixture using the remote’s rear magnet. The docking port provides a space for the remote to rest or, if the fixture is upside-down, a place for an extra set of controls closer to arm’s reach.

This wiredSkyPanel Remotefrom ARRI provides remote control operation of your ARRI SkyPanel. The remote mimics the functionality of your fixture’s built-in controls, including the LCD info panel, but allows you to control the fixture from up to 16′ away by using the included USB cable. It features an ergonomic design for comfort and ease of use.

The remote is made from aluminum with rubber corners, and it incorporates a magnet to attach it to a variety of surfaces, including steel stands. It features a Type-B USB port that accepts the included USB cable. The remote comes with a carrying case for use during transport and storage.

The remote control mimics the controls found on your SkyPanel and provides the same functionality.
It features durable yet lightweight aluminum construction and rubber corners to help it survive the rigors of the production day. The remote incorporates an ergonomic design with useful touches to make it easier to work with day-in and day-out.
